Our Tour Conditions
Our Tour Conditions are based on the “General Travel Conditions” ("Allgemeine Reisebedingungen", ARB 1992) defined by the Committee for Consumer Policy at the Federal Ministry for Health, Sports and Consumer Protection in line with Sec. 73 (1) Industrial Code and Sec. 16 of the Directive of the Federal Minister for the Economy of 22 December 1992 on the practice rules for the travel agency trade, Federal Law Gazette 29/1990. These Tour Conditions are the basis of all activities and services of the travel agency.
The full wording of the “General Travel Conditions” can be seen at or requested from the operator. All information given, prices and services described in this brochure correspond to the actual status at the time of printing. Changes of services and prices, as well as corrections of errors and printing and calculation errors, changes in currency conversion rates and tariffs, in particular those of transport carriers, are explicitly reserved.
Airline travels are carried out with IATA airlines that act merely as carriers and do not assume any responsibility for the organisation of the trip.

Registration:
We recommend you book as early as possible as the seats on the coach are allocated according to the dates of registration. Customers can register for a tour in writing, by telephone or personally at our agency or one of our partner agencies.
As soon as we have received your registration, we will send you a written confirmation with a payment form enclosed. Please use the payment form to transfer the down payment in the amount of 10% of the tour price, receipt of which is due within 14 days from booking. The rest of the payment shall be transferred in such a manner that we receive the full amount of the tour two weeks before the day of departure. Please use only the payment forms sent out by us for your payments.
We explicitly refer to the option of taking out cancellation insurance or a more comprehensive travel insurance package at our travel agency or the agency where you book your trip. The package includes, among other items, luggage insurance, accident insurance, insurance covering expenses of medical treatment, costs of transfer home and much more. We will be pleased to handle any claims with the travel insurance agency on your behalf. We will charge a processing fee of € 20.- for this service.
Travellers on our coaches are insured against accidents according to the law. If other means of transport ore used, the respective provisions apply. Passengers are obliged to wear their safety belts in our coaches, as in passenger cars!
Cancellation by customer:
In the event of circumstances that make it impossible for you to make a tour already booked, we ask for your immediate cancellation, either in writing or personally. If you are unable to find a replacement who will make the tour in your place, we will charge the following percentages for cancelled trips:
Cancellation between booking and 30th day before departure ..... processing fee of € 20.—p.p.
Cancellation between 29th and 20th day before departure ............. 25%
Cancellation between 19th and 10th day before departure ............. 50%
Cancellation between 9th and 4th day before departure ............. 65%
Cancellation as from 3rd day (72 hrs.) before departure ..... 85%
No show and cancellation on the day of departure ...... 100 %
Any payments already made will be reimbursed after deduction of cancellation processing fees.
Day trips:
Cancellation up to 3 days before departure free of charge; afterwards 100 % of the cost of the tours.
Low-cost airlines & concert tickets:
not refundable, change of name of ticket holder € 50.--, but not possible with all airlines
Cancellation by organiser: The organiser is entitled to withdraw from the tour contract if the minimum number of participants for a tour is not reached. The minimum number is normally 25 people.
Deadlines:
For tours of more than 3 days up to the 20th day before departure. For tours of up to 3 days up to the 7th day before departure. In these cases, the entire payment made shall be reimbursed to the customer. In addition, the travel agency may withdraw from the tour contract in the event of any unforeseeable, external event or if the payment conditions are not met by the customer (in this case the rules under “cancellation by customer” without cancellation insurance).
Liability:
We assume liability for proper performance of the tours described in our programme and/or up to the full amount of the travel price. As far as hotels, restaurants, carriers and other service providers are concerned, we act merely as agents and shall not assume any liability for accidents, losses or damage of any kind whatsoever. The third party liability of these companies will not be affected. In order to enforce his/her claims vis-à-vis the operator, the customer must obtain a confirmation at the point of destination confirming the non-performance of the respective service under terms of the complaint so that he/she can file his/her complaint with the organiser. The complaint must be lodged with the operator, but in any case within two weeks after the end of the trip. Claims shall be lodged in writing and the substantiating documents shall be enclosed.
Performance:
Our tours are, in general, carried out as described in our programme. Changes of routes, programme or accommodation reserved. Departure from the travel group at one’s own risk. Claim for damage is excluded if a participant is left behind because he/she did not show up at the agreed time of departure.
Tour prices:
Prices reflect the rates at the time of print (January 2006). Price adjustments are reserved if – without our fault – original costs increase before or during the trip (hotel expenses, currency rates or price increases of airline flights or ship passages). This applies until 20 days before the day of departure max.
Services:
The tour prices include all services listed in the description of the tour. According to this description, participants will either receive overnight accommodation / breakfast or half-board. Half-board includes overnight accommodation, breakfast and one meal during the day (normally dinner). If additional meals are included in the tour price, these meals will be listed separately. We will take any special wishes into account as far as this is feasible, but are unable to guarantee their fulfilment. Tips are not included in our services.
Information:
The booking agency agrees to inform the participant about entry forms, visa and customs regulations, etc. Obtaining of entry visa is subject to remuneration and a processing free. The operator cannot assume any responsibility in respect to customs regulations; the customer shall be liable for any purchases made himself/herself.
Disclosure to third parties:
Names of participants and places of stay of the travellers will only be disclosed to third parties if explicitly demanded by the traveller. Any costs incurred by the transmission of urgent news shall be at the customer’s expense. Participants are therefore advised to inform their relatives about the precise address of their holiday destination before departure (the address is available from the tour operator).
